Christmas Tour in Hafnarfjörður - 3 nights in Nov. & Dec
Enjoy Hafnarfjörður during advent. In this charming village (15 min drive from Reykjavik) you can find a Christmas Village that offers a wide selection of gifts, Christmas decorations and delicious foodstuffs. Live musical performances are on the program, as well as the opportunity to meet Iceland’s very own Yuletide Lads, thirteen mischievous Santa’s who are said to bring gifts to good children for the thirteen nights preceding Christmas Day and their mother is often seen in the neighbourhood. It Opens on the 27th of November and is open every Saturday and Sunday from 13-18 until Christmas.A christmas riding tour and sightseeing tour to the Geysir and Golden waterfall is also included.

Program:
day 1: Arrival keflavik airport - transfer to Hafnarfjörður
Upon arrival at Keflavik airport you take the flybus to Hafnarfjörður village where we stay for next 3 nights.
day 2: Horses and Golden Circle
The Icelandic horse is a symbol of its country’s natural forces. This tour gives you a taste of it all. Join a ride of 1½ - 2 hours through lava fields and across beautiful hillsides. View rough lava fields and look for different formations in the lava, maybe you will be able to spot a troll or two. After the ride you drive to Thingvellir National Park and continue to the fascinating Geysir hot spring area and beautiful Gullfoss waterfall. You return to Hafnarfjörður in the late afternoon.
day 3: Free day in Hafnarfjörður
Check out the Christmas market, walk along the sea or visit some of Hafnarfjörður´s museum. You could also take the City bus to Reykjavik or book a sightseeing tour.
day 4: Farewell
By fly-bus to Keflavik airport
